How To Make A Gin Buck Cocktail Recipe
Gin is not only my favourite spirit, but it is also the base liquor for your classic martini and many gin-juice cocktails. The Gin Buck is no excuse or exception and is a very nice change of pace from your standard highballs like the regular Gin & Tonic, which I drink regularly. This easy highball and the Gin Rickey are closely related, with the only difference being the cocktail mixer topping up the glass.
Some might call this a Gin and Ginger. Others might call it a Poor Man’s Moscow Mule… especially when the Gin Buck is served in just a highball glass instead of that fancy copper mug.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Gin (I prefer Tanqueray London Dry Gin)
- Ginger Ale
- Lemon Wedge
Preparation:
- Fill highball glass half way with ice
- Add Gin
- Top with Ginger Ale
- Give 2 gentle stirs ( Don’t upset the bubbles “CO2″ in the Ginger Ale)
- Garnish with Lemon wedge
- Serve and Enjoy!
